Skinny Smoothie

2 C cold water
½ C powdered milk
3-6 T rehydrated fruit
2 T Chia seed
1 ½ T IsoChill 9010 protein
2 T agave or honey to taste
1-2 C ice cubes.

Place all ingredients in Blendtec blender and push smoothie setting. Enjoy!

Directions:
If you currently do not ingest any caffeine and want an energy boost in the morning, then take the 2 T of Chia and soak them in 8 oz of water overnight in the refrigerator. The next day use just one cup of water in the shake and then dump in the Chia seed mixture. Otherwise just put in the 2 T of Chia as is and you will get more of a time release effect on energy. 2 T of Chia seed will give you 5000 mg of omega 3 and 1500 of omega 6, 8 g of Fat, 11 g Carbohydrates, 0 sugar, 7 g Fiber, and 4 g of Protein. There are 134 calories in this 25 g serving.

The Isochill is pure protein. 1 ½ T will give you 20 g of protein, 80 calories, no carbohydrates and no lactose. It mixes instantly in any fluid or cereal and has no taste. Brand new product!

Always rehydrate your freeze dried fruit prior to using to get the full flavor! Some of my favorites in the skinny shake are blackberry, pineapple, strawberry, banana, peach, kiwi, raspberry and apple.

We have all these ingredients in pint and larger size containers. Try a shake every morning. You will not be hungry for 5-6 hours and will be feeding your body with the protein and energy it needs to burn calories and get you going. Do not take Chia after 2 PM as it will keep you awake at night.

Skinny Green Smoothie

We took Dr. Oz’s green shake and modified to use our vine ripened food with a chia/protein boost.

2 C water
¼ C freeze dried spinach
¼ C freeze dried cucumber
¼ C freeze dried celery
¼ C freeze dried kiwi or strawberries or apple
2 T chia seed
1 ½ T isochill protein powder
½ tsp ginger root powder
2 T dried parsley
1 tsp (level) lime juice powder
1 tsp (level) lemon juice powder
3 T xylitol
1 ½ C ice cubes

This recipe will give you a ½ day’s serving of fresh vine ripened vegetables and one serving of fruit. The 1 ½ T of protein powder will supply you with 20g of pure absorbable protein to help with the digestion of the chia and vegetables. Place fruit and vegetables in water and blend until smooth. Let sit for about 2 minutes to rehydrated in water. Then add chia, protein, ginger, lemon, lime, xylitol and ice. Blend until smooth. Do not use chia if you plan on drinking this after 5 pm as it may keep you awake.

Enjoy!
